Bidrage med feedbackJust took a small group to breakfast. The place had about 5 customers when we got there around 9:15 AM. There was only one waitress who really didn't know what she was doing. Rather than go into all the details let me say that it was a long and terrible experience. We got our food after an hour and fifteen minutes of waiting. They were out of butter and the toast was cold because they made it early and it sat out until the food was cooked. The owner left as we were being seated to get something at the store. He returned just as we finished our breakfasts which were sparse but ok. Overall it was really bad and the owner/manager should be really embarrassed. We're were not even offered an apology. Never go back
My favorite place by far! Breakfast is great, and the burgers are AMAZING! Everyone is friendly, it's cool to see the workers know the regular customers name. Very welcoming environment.
We visit Columbia quite often and usually eat at the Nugget Cafe, thought we'd give this place a shot, first arrived there was hardly no one, ordered a breakfast and was told they were out of pancakes(what's up with that! How do you run out of pancakes? got French Toast instead, then waited 45 mins before our food was served our waitress had to go to the near by mini mart for a bucket of ice, another waitress brought our food and one of her hairs ended up on my hubby's toast looked like a Golden Lab dog hair(DISGUSTING!! jelly was in squeeze bottles from Dollar Tree that tasted like kool-aide, to summarize it we won't go there again very low quality food.
We are from Hawaii and we found this nice little restaurant that had great food and awesome customer service! The food was freash from our ice tea too our homemade french fries! The prices we found reasonable! We would go back again!
I hate to write about small town businesses, especially local ones. This place is so run down but sometimes the best food comes from the most surprising places. That was not the case here. We waited over half an hour for our breakfast, there were maybe 8 other patrons there at at the time. When our breakfast finally arrived, two out of three of us were served already cold food. The waitress served two of us completely black burned toast! What?? Who has the audacity to bring that to a paying customer? I think the (unprofessionally dressed in a t-shirt and baseball cap) cook was making orders one egg at a time. Such a shame this place was so bad, it has the potential to be a much better small town breakfast spot.
