Lizard's Thicket - Columbia

The food on Elmwood is great. Better than Knox Abbott. First time I've been there in a while. If you want some good country food go to the Elmwood location. Get the chicken fried steak or fried pork chop, macaroni, any veggie, rice and gravy. You can't go wrong. Oh and a side of yams.

Great place to get your choice of 1 meat and 2 or 3 sides for a reasonable price and plenty of choices. (Other menu items are available) The food is consistently good at every location that we have been to and the staff has always been friendly at every location. Great desserts as well.

I absolutely love this place!!! There aren't many restaurants/drive-thrus that have such a huge selection. Also the food is delicious! The staff is kind and friendly. We normally get Dorian as our waitress and let me tell you she is superb and on point!

The food was so Great it made me cry tears of joy and fullness. Within the past year my parents passed. The breakfast I had was so Nurturing and Great that it reminded me of my parents and made me cry and smile. Comfort Food, Soul Food, Lizard's Thicket Fulfills the Taste. So we actually landed in another place first, not to realize that there are more than 1 (we are from the extra-urban city. We went in the other location and went out immediately due to the musky smell, but decided to try the original location we found and let us just say that you exceeded all our expectations! And service was amazing! Thank you for helping us celebrate our anniversary while we visited SC! We almost forgot the pix of our desert (drilled pound cake with vanilla bean ice cream
