Don Tequilas Mexican Grill Cantina

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Columbia! I ordered the pasta, and it was bursting with flavor and ample portions. It was rich and creamy. Our waitress was incredibly helpful, especially since there are so many items on the menu. I wanted to try something different, and I’m really glad I did!

The fajitas were excellent! The service was quick and friendly, and they assisted us in choosing what to order.

I have never ever wanted to write a five star review the second I took my first bite of food at a restaurant. My first time at Don Tequilas was extraordinary. Everything was absolutely spectacular! Beautiful architecture, marvelous decor, and the atmosphere is astonishing. And of course, the food.. I can’t even describe how good those tacos are. Legitimately the best tacos I’ve probably ever had— like I wanted to thank the chef they were that good. Remarkable. The only reason I’m giving service four stars is because the host didn’t say a word to us nor did she even look at us, she just grabbed two menus and put them down on a table. Our server was terrific though!

This was our first visit. It wasn't bad... just mediocre. The prices were on the premium side, but the quantity and quality were below average. My fajitas were way past the point of any sizzle and were overcooked (especially the shrimp). I think this is the first time I've ever been able to fit almost everything into the provided tortillas. We all agreed that other local Mexican restaurants do better. The service was OK. In all fairness, we visited on a holiday, and they may have been short-staffed. New entry: I wasn't the holiday. We visited again and my review would be essentially unchanged. This time I got a vegetable quesadilla. It was tasty and well prepared, but it was small and came with nothing else. For that little food and no meat it was overpriced. Others in our group ordered basically entrees that were similarly small portions and high prices. Other places in the area do better for less, but may be more crowded. Vegetarian options: Basically, the vegetarian quesadilla is it.
