Long John Silver's - Columbia City

Unfriendly cashier truly not a people person. She fixed our plates and left them sitting there while waiting on fresh fries. when they were done she proceeded to only put the fresh hot fries on one plate I asked her if I could just get fresh ones for both plates her answer was oh we've been busy all evening so they're ok I said I'd really like hot fries on both. I figuredthat way at least something would be hot and fresh since the fish wasn't fresh and it had been sitting out there in the wideopen. Don't know if I'll give this place another try or not?

One person in front of us, took fifteen minutes to take our order. After order was taken we were told it was at least another seven minutes for long John's. Asked for a refund because we didn't want to wait, took a solid five minutes after to get arefund. Employees acted surprised we wanted a refund. Several employees were also just standing around in the kitchen whileanother customer had been waiting for his food the entire time we were there.

I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. I ordered an 8-piece shrimp meal (L3), a 2-piece white meat meal with an extra large cole slaw to go, and 2 crab cakes. The cashier informed me that they only had white meat available at the time, which was fine since that's what I wanted. However, when we got home, the chicken meal contained a thigh and the smallest wing I have ever seen, and the chicken was very dry as if it had been sitting out for hours. The shrimp meal only had 6 pieces instead of 8, and there were no fries included, just 6 pieces of shrimp and 2 hushpuppies. I usually try to support local businesses, but I will not be spending my hard-earned money at this KFC/LJS again. I suggest driving to another location before you make a purchase here. Consider yourself warned.

The fish was overcooked, the fries were unpleasant, the fountain drinks were flat, and when I mentioned it to the manager, she dismissed it without checking. The ketchup packets were sticky and the hand sanitizer dispenser was empty. I was in Warsaw, Indiana today and found out that the Long John Silver's there has been closed. It's disappointing because the store that should have closed was the one in Columbia City.

This restaurant has gone downhill. The fish was extremely thin, about 1/4 inch flat, and had a cold greasy breading. It was not appetizing at all. The chicken portion was small and not much better than the fish.
