Maria's Cafe Mexican - Colton

What can I say. I've been here about a dozen times. Let's Me start with the positive. The food is delicious. It's consistently good. The bad...some waitresses are fantastic. But the family...if they have to wait on you or talk to you at all are the rudest in the area. If you have to deal with their foul moods it will turn your 3 star experience into a 1. Please be forewarned.

I came today after calling in 2 seperate orders of pazole. I asked the lady who answered if 2 seperate bags of chips would be given she said yes. When i arrived it was 1 bag of chips and i explained to lupe the waitress i placed 2 seperate orders each should have come with its own bag. She then proceeded to take the one small bag of chips and pour it into a 2nd bag to split that small bag in 2. I asked for a manager because that was unacceptable especially when each order should have come with its own bag because it was for a co worker. She refused a manager instead she threw another bag in with a really nasty attitude. This is not the first time i have received terrible customer service from the new waitresses they have. I have been left on hold when placing a order and came in to order while my phone was still on hold and watched the lady hang up the line not even realizing i was the one she had on hold. Good food but they have gotten worse with customer service since i first started coming here. Id rather take my buisness elsewhere bc i dont appreciate how rude the waitress lupe is and i miss the old girls they were so friendly. I have also included one of the bags of chips she had inside the order after splitting a bag in half right in my face.

My friend and I dine there quite often, and we have always been totally satisfied with the food choices made. Food is always freshly prepared and hot with generously helpings. Staff is really getting to know us, since we're there so often. Why hadn't I found out about Maria's sooner? ??

Great little restaurant! Food is excellent, the waitresses even though they were quite harried it was lunchtime, and things were cookin ! we 're pleasant and helpful. My second time there and plan to return!

I had the Chile Colorado and it was excellent. I highly recommend it if you are looking for tender beef with the perfect amount of spice.
