Mayo's O'taste See - Colorado Springs

Family ownership/running. They are absolutely amazing and know what we like, remember us and always for a friendly conversation. The food is always delicious and I often recommend this place to others. My favorite is smeared pork chops, green beans and potato salad with a Thai tea. Happy dinner! You will not be disappointed!

The best food I've had in the springs!! Better than any of the many chain restaurants that seem to be over abundant in COS. Fish, ribs are excellent but it's all about the gumbo. Only on Friday! I haven't had anything bad yet. If you're looking for real soul/southern food, go to Mayo's, you will not be disappointed. Great food, great service and very reasonable prices.

Good BBQ. Drive thru and it's fresh. The maize bread and honey butter was made fresh this day. The owner is the sweetest and super warm and welcoming. We'll be back soon and much more. Family friendly and animal lovers.

I came from Texas, country of BBQ, I had some of him best. This place is pretty good. First, great interior and feeling. But let's talk food. I love the brisket. It was the best part of my meal. Coleslaw has a beautiful vinegar taste that distinguishes it from others. Beans where sweet and spicy. Pulled chicken had great taste. Not a fan of crowned greens, so I'm not the one who's this determination about what's good. I liked nothing fried, mushrooms, okra... you call it. I just dipped in rubbish and fried. I'd stay away from that. If the fixed dough would be less fat, I would increase my rating to 5. Large selection of sauces. If I get back to town, would I come back? Betcha!

The food was delicious and I recommend the bride! I have to meet the owner's wife and daughter and they were so nice people and very friendly. Look at this.
