Jun Japanese Restaurant Sushi Bar

I visited this restaurant for the first time in years, and I absolutely love the changes they've made. The last time I was here, I got really sick, but tonight's experience was a significant improvement. The sushi was fresh, and the service was outstanding. I can't wait to come back in the future!

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The noise level was low, and our table felt somewhat private. What more could we ask for? When I informed the waitress about my gluten-free diet, she provided several options. I chose the Teriyaki Salmon, which was flavorful but a bit on the dry side. One of my friends in our party of seven ordered the same dish but opted for the bento box, which featured some appealing tempura, so I decided to try that (though, unfortunately, it contained gluten). The vegetables on the plate were excellent, dressed lightly. The Mai Tai was average—nothing special, and it had a hint of stale ice cubes. However, it improved as I continued to drink. I also ordered cucumber sushi, but I think they forgot to include the cucumber. The mochi ice cream was just okay as well. Overall, it was a great spot for a gathering with friends. Next time, I’ll skip the bento box for myself!

Still the best after 30 years! I first visited this restaurant in 1992 when I moved to Colorado Springs. They offer the highest quality seafood, and I can really taste the difference, especially with their larger sushi pieces and all the nice extras, like a hot towel to start. Their happy hour from 5 to 6:30 provides great value too. Give them a try!

20 Jul 23 had lunch with my ex daughter in law, Chesley and we both ordered the Teriyaki chicken with white rice, veggies and the sauce on the side. They took forever to bring our food and and the restaurant was not very busy. They only had one waitress serving the people that were there so service was very slow. The food was okay but because it took so long and I was not impressed with their service so I doubt that I will be returning to the one at this location.

This spot is great. Very relaxing environment and the staff is very welcoming. The fish was fresh and presented in a very appetizing fashion. I'll definitely be coming back!
