Five Guys - Colorado Springs

My friend and I were craving burgers and fries and decided to grab a bite at Five Guys. I've been to other locations and my meal was always tasty and satisfying. Unfortunately last night at this location our burger meat was so crunchy and tasted so charcoally? It was not great at all, I couldn't finish my burger because it was so hard and the patty was very thin. I paid so much money here and I didn't even get to enjoy my cheeseburger. Definitely not coming back.

I love their fries burgers. At this particular location, they keep the restaurant WAY too cold. The food (and us) got cold quickly the whole experience just wasn't enjoyable.

Usually there is always good food here. I've been coming here since 2015 but recently the last few times I've been in there's been nobody working the register. There are employees cooking food and handing out food and cleaning the restaurant but nobody's working the register. I stood there for 10 minutes each time and then just left without ordering.

Update: 20220615, as below. Good Dang Burger and Pommes. People still very nice and helpful. Good solid burger with many blows. The small frits are plentiful as there are other small frits in the bag loose. People were nice too, and the place was clean. My biggest grip with 5 guys is the price. Burgers and Pommes are about $15 (no drink). The smallest hairs are $4.25... It's a potato, right? The burger is pretty fleshy, two aren't lubricated.
