El Padrino Mexicano - Colorado Springs

I came here for the first time for a lunch with co-workers. We all enjoyed our food, I got the lunch combo #8, shredded beef enchilada and beef taco and it was very good, and I would recommend the green chili. Only thing I would say is the mens restroom appears to be clean but had a awful smell, similar to a gas station bathroom that hasn’t been cleaned for weeks. The bathroom was visually clean, but did not smell clean. I would definitely come back for the food or do takeout!

Delicious authentic Mexican food. Had the green chili (hot) and it was amazing. The hot salsa is not too hot. Could have eaten it with a spoon, it was so good.

Food was very good. A little pricey, in my opinion. 3 adults and no alcohol bill was over $70 before tip. However, there was a lot of staff so service was very good and fast. The place was packed when we got there (around 6:30 pm), so that should tell you something. All in all, very good experience and we will for sure be back again.

I had to return my meal for the first time ever. The chile relleno was absolutely inedible! I couldn't determine if it was soggy, stale, or just spoiled. Fortunately, the waiter replaced it with a simple quesadilla.

The noise level was quite overwhelming and the tables are closely arranged. However, the food was excellent and the service was good. It seems that prices have gone up, but the quality remains strong.
