New Saraswathi Cafe - Colombo

Located on a bustling street near Pettah, this vegetarian restaurant specializes in traditional South Indian cuisine. The spacious restaurant offers plenty of seating and is popular among locals, particularly Tamilians. We visited for lunch based on a recommendation from a Tuk Tuk driver, and were pleased with the quick service and delicious food. The ambiance was typical of a South Indian restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by a spider landing on our table from the ceiling. Despite this, the staff did not apologize for the incident, which was disappointing.

A good place to eat traditional tamil kitchen. vegeterians inspire. there are 5 stars for the portion sodhi, the something I did not eat in a really long time and it was great. have to try to dishes are paper-rous, parotta and red rice idiyappam with ulundu vadai.
