The food prices at this restaurant are unreasonable and the customer service, especially from the cashier Chithra, is very poor. The staff are also unfairly charging certain customers different prices for their food. I will not be returning to Curry Pot on R.A. De Mel Mawatha in the future.

The food is flavorful and enjoyable, and the service is relatively better when the restaurant is not too busy. This is likely because there are only two people working, so when it gets crowded there can be a bit of a wait.

The restaurant is located just off the main road, and we found it by chance while searching for a place to eat at 9pm. It has a casual atmosphere, more like a local 'fast food' cafe rather than a fancy dining venue. There is a nice local vibe with many locals dining here. We tried the Thai Vegetable noodles and Nasi Goreng, both dishes were delicious and generously portioned. The price was very reasonable at 600 LKR for the noodles and 400 LKR for the Nasi Goreng (equivalent to £2.40 and £1.60 in Feb 2020). We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for affordable and delicious food, with plenty of vegetarian options available.

Service and foods are good but little bit price's highly because our country situation

Went here seeing the guy from our hostel recommended this place. Walked in and the waiter took us to the curry buffet. The food was not hot, taste was ok though. One star because this was the most expensive local food we had. The food on the picture and 1 bottle of water set us back a whopping 1600 LKR. I confronted the waiter afterwards and asked if he could show me on the menu what we had, he could not. What a scam! Goodbye forever.
