I've lived in Collioure for years. As of 2023 there are 17 ice cream shops to choose from and Saveur d'Antan is incontestably the BEST ICE CREAM IN TOWN, possibly one of the best places in the region. Their ice cream has rich, deep flavors, and is truly artisanally produced (a few places in town claim to do the same, but insiders have told me some can really stretch the definition of artisanal . There is a wide selection of flavors, not all are available everyday as there are a few that come in and out of the rotation on a regular basis. Pistachio and Salted Caramel are my two favorites, and you can't go wrong with the sorbets : They also offer a selection of cookies, and a few other baked goods. If you're visiting for a limited time, this is the place to go for your dessert needs.

Looks unassuming from the outside compared to some of the ‘showier’ ice cream shops but the ice cream is absolutely superb quality! They have an interesting selection of artisan flavours (we tried licorice, redcurrant yoghurt, white chocolate, and pecan caramel, amongst others, over the course of our 2 visits! and the service was super friendly and welcoming. Wonderful little place! I want to come back and try the violet and peach flavours some day.
