The food itself is like average asian food, it's not bad but it's not like AMAZING. The vegetable friend rice was good in almost all aspects besides flavor, which was a little bland. Also it was a little expensive, but the fried rice portion portion I got was HUGE, so it wasn't unreasonable. Some parts of the menu were blank/crossed out in black marker, so it wasn't the MOST professional place ever but because the service was fine, that's easily overlooked in my opinion. They also have a spicy pho challenge and bogo half off for beers on some days.
I've only had pho once before, so I'm not an expert, but I can confidently say that this might be the best Vietnamese pho I've found in the BCS area! Don't be misled by the exterior; the interior is spacious with plenty of tables and enough staff to keep up with the demand. We visited on a weekday around 7 PM, and while I expected it to be busier, it wasn't crowded. The staff was friendly and attentive, and our food arrived fairly quickly! We ordered the combination pho, which was quite good. I would have liked a bit more spice for flavor, but I definitely plan to return and try other dishes. I found the menu a little confusing; I assumed the combination would include various types of meat, but it only came with meatballs and beef. A friend of mine, who has been there before, mentioned that she usually gets the chicken pho. The portion was generous and enough for both of us. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
The Vietnamese food here is fantastic, and the spring rolls are particularly noteworthy, along with a selection of great Japanese drinks. The staff is very friendly, and they even offer fortune cookies (I think they might have been interns?). The noodles and rice pair perfectly with Sriracha, and their peanut sauce for the spring rolls is the best I’ve ever had. Just a heads up for vegetarians: make sure to be very clear about your orders!
I visited this restaurant on a rainy day and needed a quick bite to eat before heading to the Bush Library. Since we had a group of 17, the service was a bit slow, as anticipated. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was decent for the area.
