Bidrage med feedbackNuVegan was the first vegan restaurant I visited in the DC-Maryland area. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has progressively declined over the past few years. The experience eating here just isn't the same: the seasonings, the taste, food quality, menu breakdown, and prices are worse. Unfortunately, a lot of the comments from the last year reflect similar experiences with lower quality food and poor service.
Always a pleasure to come here and just only for the ginger spiced tofu.
This place takes vegan food to another level the service was great fast and with a smile and then I say the food was good already you're going to love it if you go.
This place sucks to pick up orders. IT SUCKS. They act as if people didnt order 30 min before time and only prep it when you get there. Thats only after they ignore you and pretend you dont exist even if you try to get their attention. Digsusting and horrible attitudes. I kick every order I get here every single time it isnt worth the negativity they influence onto others. Just absolutley straight up nasty for no reason. Drivers are people too and stop making people wait for their orders. Just make them on time simple enough right? Not for these people
My husband and I went to NuVegan since its a highly rated vegan restaurant in DMV. I've lived in Georgia for a bit, so was excited to have vegan soul food.We ordered general tso, collard greens, chicken sandwich, cauliflower salad, and fries. Not one of these things was any good. When the server added rice to the box for general tso, I could literally hear the rice hit the box. The rice was very undercooked, and the curry was too sweet. The sandwich was served with a very low quality bread, and the filling was dry.The collard greens were okay. The fries and the salad again, had a pretty bad taste. We couldn't eat most of the food, and had to go to a different restaurant after wasting 40$ here.I don't understand how can a place with such good rating have such bad food.
