Harold's Chicken Ice Old National

I dine here last night and order food to go from the bar. I’m dissatisfied with the service because the waiter added 20$ more bill as a tip to herself which is bad business and stealing. I’m disappointed by experience I was actually starting to like this place. Now I can never return.

Im a regular (i go once a week) at Harold’s I absolutely love it there I visited last night and it up setted me because I waited for a table for 35 min I initially was suppose to meet my cousin there she never showed up so after 35 min the bar never became open but a table did and being that i was alone i kind of was skeptical about a table but figured why not ive drove a hr away and I didn’t come to just leave tell me why the waitress was upset about me sitting at the table alone she didnt want to serve me and as soon as i was done with my food she was like ok yeah u can go now i have someone waiting on this table i mean i was only at the table 30min yes i tipped her before she came over rushing me to leave I started to go off but i didnt i mean i drove i waited just like everyone else so why am i being rushed to move when it was other people just sitting around chatting not to mention i wasnt done with my drink and the food was trash and its never ever like that.. i politely just got up and left but you dont treat people that way who spends their money with your business its not like i sat there and didnt buy anything smh it be your own kind

IT HAD A SPORTS BAR RESTAURANT NIGHT CLUB TYPE OF VIBE! PLAYING HIP HOP MUSIC WITH GIRLS TWERKING!

The service was horrible, probably due to being short staffed, but it wasn't that busy. The guy taking our order asked us 3 times about our instead of just writing it down. We had a long while for our drunk, and when it came, mine was incorrect. I went and asked the bartender could she fix it and was told no, I must wait for my waiter, which took another 15 minutes. The atmosphere is great music and dj was good. The fried green tomatoes and Southside egg rolls were very good. But baby, I'm from Chicago. Harolds put the mild sauce on the chicken for a reason. I asked if they could do it and was told sauce is on the table, and then she argued it is no difference. The sauce did not taste like the Chicago mild sauce, and the chicken was fried too hard... If you are going to use the name, the sauce makes up part of the name . Go take a trip to the Chi and go to one of the original Harold's in the city, not the suburbs.

Staff walked past us didn't acknowledge us, waited on others who came in after us, it took about 18 minutes to get waited on, asked security for manager who never came but finally got a server. We also observed several staff members holding personal conversations, smoking the hookahs, and ignoring the customers entering the establishment. This clearly shows poor customer service. We (our party of ladies) see that 18% gratuity is added in all checks. So the mind set of these, waitresses, waiters, barmaids are so off track of serving your guest. And it's sad to say your quality of service suffers greatly!!!
