Bidrage med feedbackI had the burger steak. Good. My wife had the porkchops. Very good. And we shared the biscuits and gravy. Outstanding! The BEST Biscuits and gravy I've had in a long time.
Sunday was pretty busy but we were able to squeeze in. Wide variety on the menu and portions were generous. I had the French toast with ham which turned out to be massive. The ham was thick cut and grilled. Kind of a hole in the wall, but very much worth the stop. Must try.
Me&my boyfriend were looking for a good place to eat in Colfax this weekend. Went to a place called RedFrog had an ugly outcome and walked away from there. Then we decided to just eat at any place near by and get over with it. We came upon the TJ 's Roadhouse. What a difference it made to us after the other encounter. We loved this place so much going to be regular customers now. This was the most welcoming and friendly place ever. Kim took care of us and we were very pleased with her. The food was so delicious. Kim was so happy to make my order fit to my specific needs. She did not even once make me uncomfortable when I was so specific. Loved the place and food, highly recommended it.
I ordered the steak sandwich with onion rings. The steak had two tough spots that made it difficult and messy to bite into the sandwich. However, I also had the peach pie with a scoop of ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious.
A charming little restaurant located in Colfax, CA, we stopped here for lunch while en route to Reno, NV. Perched on a hill beside a motel, we nearly overlooked it. The staff was welcoming, and we were quickly seated and offered drinks. We tried the hot pastrami on rye and the I-80 club sandwich. The pastrami was thinly sliced, complemented by kraut and sauce on a brioche bun. Meanwhile, the club sandwich was generously layered with turkey and ham. Both sandwiches came with fries and were absolutely delicious!
