Sun Do - Coleraine

I try the Sun Do when my fav Chinese is closed for hols in August this is the 3rd year in a row I have gone to Sun Do (where I used to get my Chinese takeaway from every week for nearly a decade until they started to use stringy cheap chicken in a thick rubber batter). I have to say that the quality of chicken is still as poor as ever. I could have been tempted away from my fav takeaway but the quality of the Sun Do chicken is so poor, really spoiled decent rice and sauce please stop using this chicken, there is hardly any chicken in it, what there is is reprocessed rubbish, and it is in a thick batter that is so rubbery it is horrid please stop, the thick real chicken in a thin batter you used to do about 5 years ago was the best in Coleraine, it is now thew worst.

Prices are gone way up but the food is no better, stringy reprocessed chicken that takes ages to chew, left most of it on the plate and still need my dinner. Place was deserted when we picked up our food, Won't be back, and looks like others are doing the same. Such a shame, once the best chinese in Coleraine, now just serves bad meals.

Been eating take aways from here off and on over the years but the chicken they use has become horrible. Battered chicken is just batter amd any chicken there is is rubbery and chewy with lumpy bits about half of the chicken is spat out again. They need to sort out the quality of their chicken as it spools the otherwise excellent meals, I will give the sun do a miss for a while to see if they sort their quality out someone is obviously cutting corners and buying cheap gibblets or what ever and thinking the customers won't notice we have!!!!!

Opted for a takeaway. Turned up to pay to be told cash only. Seriously? Food was tasteless, uninteresting and stodgy. Won't be back.
