Tub and Cone - Colchester

After a disappointing experience with a delivery driver, the management at Tub and Cone really impressed us with some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. It was 9:30 on Mother's Day and we thought we were going to leave without our order. However, after a simple phone call, the manager agreed to cook a fresh batch of food at no additional cost, and even threw in some extra goodies. The food was amazing, with generous portion sizes and friendly employees. We will definitely be choosing Tub and Cone over local alternatives like Caspers or Heavenly Deserts in the future.

The staff at this restaurant is friendly and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The food is so good that I even forgave them for getting my order wrong.

We went here after a meal out (babysitter at home with kids! The wife had a very nice Ferrero Waffle and I had a chocolate molten lava cake... both were very nice. The shop has some chairs stools for eating inside, but not many so mainly deserts will be takeaway. Worth a visit if you fancy something sweet we have already talked about returning!
