The Coffee Crate - Colchester

What a super little place, tucked away in a cute location! The staff are genuinely happy to greet everyone, everyone is all smiles, chatty, they even brought our takeaway drinks out to the car! Bacon sandwiches on sumptuous, thick, granary bread cooked as you like it, coffee made fresh and was to die for! We are ashamed to say this is our first visit it's a must if you're nearby! Refreshing to have something this lovely in the local area flawless and can't wait to return. thank you!

An absolute gem would definitely recommend excellent quality,an amazing range of goodies to enjoy. We had a lovely time we went in for a quick snack lunch and a coffee and even came away with some Delicious homemade salads assorted Lovely owner and great chef do try the Coffee Crate I’m sure you won’t be disappointed Cosy atmosphere and quirky love it can’t wait to return asap

Visited the coffee crate with family today (5 of us) The food was 5 star, the staff was 5 star. Absolutely brilliant not had service like this for a very long time nothing was to much trouble, they went above and beyond. Thank you Coffee crate we will be back very soon.

Found the staff to be very pleasant, helpful and attentive, initially only went for a coffee but seeing the food being brought out made my wife and I feel hungry. Quality of food was EXCELLENT and would have no hesitation in recommending to freinds and family.

I’ve found my new favourite place! And the coffee is the best I’ve ever tasted! Service is absoluty outstanding!! Such a lovely atmosphere with all the other little shops around it, never met a nicer bunch of people
