Seaview Cafe - Colchester

The staff at this restaurant are amazing - so friendly and helpful. The menu offers a great selection of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The restaurant is clean and you can even take your fish and chips to the beach to enjoy. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a cafe.

We had a fantastic experience at this hidden gem in Mersea today. We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant near the iconic pastel beach huts. The customer service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, it was a delight to have such a warm welcome and a lively conversation. The highlight for us was the generous portion size of the chips, and we highly recommend trying the chocolate ice cream for dessert. It was simply the best! We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much x.

While at the beach, we indulged in some fries. Unfortunately, they were disappointing - clearly made from processed ingredients. It shouldn't be that difficult to make fresh fries!

Down by the beach today and sent my granddaughter to buy an ice cream . I do think for one ice cream is way over the top!!!

Had takeaway fish chips with family. Really lovely food and good value. Would definitely recommend.
