This restaurant belongs to a Syrian family. All they offer is clearly marked and is absolutely delicious. You can say that everything is fresh and made with love. It's my favorite restaurant in Colchester! I wish they were 100% vegan.

Coffee to blow off your socks and die a lentil soup. Fantastic staff too. Most foods are vegans, but I have meat dishes. A very basic website is [here link] But the best places don't need any pleasure.

I rarely get excited about food but this place has the most authentic traditional food I’m not Syrian but I can taste the spirit of an old culture through their food, environment, and the music) Highly recommending their coffee, herbal tea and desert.

This is one of those rare, secret gems—authentic Syrian cuisine, made with care, and the tradition of hundreds of years. Falafel and More is proper soul food. Rich, healthy, and delicious food, prepared with the most modest ingredients. When I arrived, I asked Marwan, 'Can you please put together a serving you 'd suggest? ' Without any hesitation, his eyes glowed with delight. They showered our table with a spread—though he was feeding his own family. The small restaurant radiated with the sun that afternoon. Still, it was the warmth, pride, and love this little Syrian restaurant brings to communities like Colchester that stayed with me as I wrote this the day after. Thank you, Falafel and More.
