Thwaites Bakehouse - Colac

Was disappointed when I bought a few cakes and she gave me a box with a hair on the basic. Unfortunately, the whole amount in the bin oasis did not go back.

They bake the best bread and make an amazing cream cheese spread. I believe their bread is also made with sourdough culture. I love making sandwiches with their bread. Delicious!

We visited on a cold, wet, and windy day. The bakery was clean, inviting, and cozy. Our brunch was delicious, well-prepared, and served promptly. The food, coffee, and staff were all fantastic. We highly recommend this place.

Stopping at a local bakery in Colac at 10am during our weekend drive was a delightful experience. This popular spot attracts a lot of passing customers, so we had to wait in line to try their freshly baked goods. They offered a variety of breads, including white, wholemeal, sourdough, and fruit loaves. However, it was their selection of cakes that caught our attention, such as large iced and jam donuts, delicious vanilla slices, and real coffee scrolls. The coffee was also surprisingly good, especially considering there was no obvious hipster barista in sight. We will definitely keep this bakery in mind for future visits.
