McDonalds - Colac

It seems like regional McDonald's are really stepping up their game. City McDonald's should take note. The table service, from ordering to receiving the food, was fast, efficient, and fresh. The restaurant was busy, clean, and tidy. The fries were slightly undercooked, but overall it was a good experience. The food at the McCafe looked well-presented.

Reliable maccas. Great for families with young children due to the play area and birthday party option. Always seems to be super busy! Relatively quick service!

I have visited this restaurant On a few occasions I have always found it to be clean and the staff are more than friendly definitely worth a visit

Colac McD's spent all that money on an upgrade.......OK what did they achieve 's...... well they have more seating and it is more comfortable-'s....... did they forget that farming country is the epicentre for flies? Oder a coffee and feel like you are part of a special effects movie as the flies swarm all around you-'s ..... the drive through now takes two cars but woefully under prepared for making two lanes of coffee, expect to wait in a fume tunnel for approx 5 mins. Even worse if you go inside to order then the drive through takes priority on orders, so for example if you are customer served 5 expect 6,7,8 and 9 orders for drive through to be made first-'s.....staff are either exceptional, case of point arrive before 6am the night shift has a pocket dynamo that serves efficiently and courteously and with a smile. Compare with the post 6am team where it feels like being part of a gothic film set with heavily tattooed girls hollering 'order 100 flat white take away' so loud it manages to drown out the radio.......classic case of loving my own voice syndrome from the Goths 's finally a positive post the feedback the management (assuming they have a management structure that is) managed to revert their decision to only have one news paper. Finally reading for allHope this feedback helps not only visitors but also the 'management' to address any issues that may or may not have become common themes

Driving from Warrnambool to Melbourne today stopped in Colac for lunch. Unable to eat inside because of restrictions we just purchased coffee and went outside, tables were all marked to the extent that we couldn’t sit there, we did of course and were told by...a staff member that we were not allowed to sit in the fresh air. After driving for hours there was no way we were going to go through the drive through and eat our food in the car. We can go to a food court, order McDonalds and sit inside with one hundred other people. We can mingle with hundreds of people in a shopping centre. Even Hungry Jacks let you sit outside to eat. Good luck policing this on McHappy day! You have completely lots us as customers.
