Captain George's Seafood - Colac

I ordered the whiting, calamari, potato cakes, and chips. The batter was the best I have ever had and the food was fresh. The owner and staff were extremely friendly. I highly recommend stopping by this hidden gem of a restaurant on your way through Colac.

This is the best fish and chips I've had in years. After a disappointing experience at the last fish and chips shop we visited, we were almost ready to give up on ever eating it again. But thankfully, Captain George's restored our faith in seafood almost instantly.

I often have lunch here and the hamburgers are great, and so is the fish and chips. also a good selection of drinks. great location in the main street of colac. of course I come back.

The restaurant was run by two elderly Asian men who were generous in size. The portions were large and plentiful.

Very recommended the scallops, absolutely fantastic. service is brilliant. chips are small quality, so make sure to ask a larger size, it will be free most time.
