Angelique Cafe - Cognac

Before I give my opinion I have already been able to taste an afternoon tea in London in a 5-star... Hence the Christmas gift made to my mother: a afternoon tea in a hotel that wants to be luxury in Cognac.... Nothing to say about the reception, the crossed people have shown themselves charming. The English accent of our host, its seriousness were perfect and stuck in the frame because although small, the coffee is cozy.... we will not talk about the view because there is nothing to say... first disappointment... Nothing to say about the quality of the dishes... DELICIEUX.... Bravo to the leader! Here again a pity that magic disappears when seeing these come out of the fridge.... I am aware that we do not prepare for the minute but it breaks the dream.... Where there's really much to say about the behaviour of staff members, visibly leaders who disconnected the cleaning ... and spoke very loud about their coming weekend! I don't think the customers need to know, the upcoming schedules, what a concert these people are invited to,... I'd spend on their way to stand in the sofas... In short if you want an afternoon tea with class avoid coming during the break of these people!

It is pleasant to stay in a hotel that offers several atmospheres of restoration. The Café Angélique was the ideal place to make a few calls and wait for our room. The pastry wagon with a good cappuccino... It was perfect.

Top service, small care to make us live a delicious moment. We came for Christmas and I highly recommend their pastries (extras! accompanied by a green tea. We'll come back for sure.

Perfect for a gourmet break after a walk in Cognac. The staff is extra as usual. Thank you very much!
