WORST EXPERIENCE EVER...We visited Coffs Harbour for the weekend from the Gold Coast.Saw Ethiopian restaurant in the town and we were really excited and interested to try our first Ethiopian food and beer!We were welcomed by waitress and was told there are tables available outside. And she said I will be with you shortly (1). It was a BYO restaurant so we had a bottle of red wine with us, and we asked for 2 glasses and same time I asked for Ethiopian beer before we sat outside.Around 10 mins went pass. Then we saw family of 4 walked into the restaurant and sat next to our table outside. Another 5 mins went by, the table next to us went inside the restaurant to ask for a menu. Then the same waitress that welcomed us was grabbing the menu, water, and glasses..... As I was watching her, she walked pass us and said I will be with you shortly (2) and gave the menu to the table next to us???? who came after us????As she was explaining the menu to the table next to us, I was really not happy about it. Once she finished with the table next to us, she said again Sorry I will be with you shortly (3)....when she went in, I thought she was going to grab our menu straightaway, but NO.. she was talking to other people that arrived to the restaurant. And at that moment I had enough and we just walked out of that restaurant!! We sat at that table for 20-30mins without anything on the table!What a joke! and you served the table that came after us? she have said I will be with you shortly 3 times!! and still did not make it to us? I am sorry but that is not right,,,we heard when she was talking to the table next to us, that it was her 2nd day of working there, but that is not a good excuses not serving or seeing us first........We went to the Indian restaurant next door, Taste of North India . Did not had any booking and we were showed to the table within 5 seconds and when we sat down, water within a minute, menu within the minute! we were already having a sip of out wine and ordered our meal within 5mins? wow what a different experience we had? After our meal we walk towards our car and we sae that family of 4 were still sitting there and eating their meal. hope they enjoyed their meal. :)Too bad we had the worst experience with this restaurant, but we still will try Ethiopian food elsewhere.Thank you for reading.
