279 Grill - Coffee Pot Landing

This place was suggested to me a while ago as having great food. Strolled in on a Sunday just in time for Karaoke to start (after we ordered, or we would have walked right back out . No offense to people who like it, but why does it have to be done in public settings. Karaoke should be like AA; go to a private group and get it out. Maybe take a willing sponsor or two, but please don 't make listen... please. Anyway, the bartender was awesome. The beer was great. The wings were superb, but that 's were it stopped. The Filet was over cooked, and tasted terrible. Not sure where the asparagus came from (can? Or was pre poached? The burger had potential on paper, the patty was good (but way past medium , but something on the burger smelled off. The bacon, who knows, but it was disappointing. I took the patty out and ate it. Our dog at the majority of the filet. So, first off skip Karaoke if it isn 't your thing and second I hope the chef called out and this was just a bad night. Everything sounded great and was said to be great by others, so.???

Nice menu. Cozy bar/restaurant with live music and cold beer. I enjoyed the ahi tuna app and the bone in wings.

Parking: Small lot, however plenty of spots across River St in the Subway/Bakery Delite lot if necessary

279? More like 666… I was here last week, and we had by far the worst customer service I’ve ever received in my entire life. The place was also just really gross as well. If you want to go on a sight seeing tour of **** spots and pubic hair on the toilet seat of the men’s bathroom— this is your place. The blonde owner of the bar was extremely rude and kept purposely avoiding our table for over half an hour while talking to the table in front of us with her arm above the chair cushion of the booth. I read through the other reviews here, it seems like it’s a common occurrence. She finally comes over to give us the menus, and she starts taking orders of people JUST WALKING INTO THE BAR. My friend tried to go up to the bar and get our orders that way the bartender took everyone’s orders EXCEPT HERS. We did not do anything to provoke ignoring us like this at all… 279, keep up the nasty behavior if you want your profits to go down to 000. If you have a choice between 279 or prison, choose prison because at least you know they have to serve you food there.
