Best Sandwich Shack - Coeur D' Alene

This is a local gem. Great Philly Cheese. The beef is fantastic… and lots of it.

Ordered a lion's bite sandwich, 1st time being in. Was able to leave to the other side of the lot, wait for two people to make an order, then make my order and get it, go back to my truck and move it closer to the sandwich shop. Once I got my order went home and ate half looking for the greatness, never found it and threw the rest away. Was soaked in Buffalo sauce. Kid-friendliness: Older lady running the window was nice

When I say this is the BEST sandwich I have ever eaten in my 32 years of life, I am not even being remotely dramatic! *long wait* but worth it. I put my order in at 1:48p went to my vehicle to wait, i was buzzed to come pick it up at 2:22p. 44 mins for 1 Philly, 1 Shack Dog, and Mac n’ Cheese w/ Bacon. Good things take time, just be aware of the wait before you order.

Outstanding. We both got the Philly cheesesteak and were delighted by every flavorful bite. Rich, hearty, cheesy, and it has excellent bread for a cheesesteak. Not dripping in grease or soggy bread, even with the drive from CDA to Stateline. Best cheesesteak hands down.

If I was on death row, a cheesesteak from this joint would be my last meal. Sweet jesus what a sandwich! The lady that runs the place is an absolute gem too.
