I’ve been here a handful of times for business lunches and dinners and have enjoyed every time. Food was great, staff and service were great as well.
We recently stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Cocoa Beach for a couple days before we got on a cruise. The Startlite Restaurant Pool Bar is the restaurant at the hotel. On our first evening we decided to eat there because it was convenient. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server. The menu, while not extensive, had some great looking offerings, all at very reasonable prices. This particular evening I opted for salmon, the wife had Tuscan Chicken (as I recall). Both were served with rice. Food delivery was a bit long. Probably between 15 and 20 minutes, but the food was hot and accurate when we got it. The salmon was 100% AMAZEBALLS. I've eaten a lot of salmon in a lot of places, and this is definitely in the top 5% For breakfast I was intrigued by the Chorizo Eggs Benedict. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED . Oh My Freakin' Gawd, that was delicious! Starlite has a very open, breezy feeling to it. There's a lot of natural light (you are on the ocean), and the walls are decorated to make you feel outside and very...beach-y. The server pace, in our experience, was a bit laid back. I wouldn't suggest dining here if you're in a hurry and don't be too hopeful if you're looking for a drink refill and you're dying of thirst. I'm hoping to visit Starlite again some time, if only for the Chorizo Eggs Benedict. That is definitely a star maker!
Bridgette and Jose were amazing!! Would spend another holiday here just for their service!! Food was excellent as well
So my wife and I were hungry from our rather tumultuous day of travel. We were tired and didn 't want to go far, so we decided to stay and eat at our hotel. That was a great idea on our part! We walked in and were greeted and seated very quickly, as it was early in the evening and not really that busy. The restaurant was decorated very nicely and was very inviting. We decided on the giant pretzel for an appetizer and, for the entrées, she got the Salmon B.L.T. and I got the Cajun Mahi Street Tacos. I also got an alcoholic pineapple cider, which was very good The pretzel came out and was, indeed, giant! It was fluffy and warm, just like a pretzel should be because, as Chidi says, if you 're going to go out, it may as well be with a stomach full of warm pretzel! Yum yum! The beer cheese was amazing as well! The entrées came out shortly after, and her sandwich was delicious! The bacon added a saltiness and the tzatziki sauce balanced it out nicely. My Tacos were spiced nicely and were flavorful. Any criticism would be the VERY HIGH salt level on the pretzel. You could flavor the nearby ocean with the amount of salt on that bad boy. We had to scrape it off with a knife. Overall, if we 're in the area again, this would be a contender for dinner. It was a great meal, sans salt, and great servicea
