Satellite Bar and Grille at Arbutus Ridge

The Satellite Bar & Grill is, as was pointed out in other reviews a combination; "nineteenth" hole, a great choice for dining and a go to restaurant for the adjacent seaside community of Arbutus Ridge. This in no way compromises the quality of food or service. As a member of the golf club and a resident of Arbutus Ridge, we find the Satellite Bar & Grill a great dining choice for lunch or dinner! This restaurant is a great compliment to the fantastic food establishments we have to choose from in the Cowichan Valley!

Great value. My wife and I take advantage of this most Thursdays.Plenty to eat, horse-radish to strip the paint off walls and have you gargling with ice-cold lager, and roast beef cooked perfectly. Yours for $19.95.All this and great views over the green fields of the Cowichan Valley to Saltspring Island.

Four of us stopped for lunch on a family tour around the valley. I ordered the salmon burger, others ordered fish and chips. The salmon burger was perfectly cooked and the fish and chips were great - well cooked with a light crispy batter. There is a small selection of local beer and wine. There is an outside deck as well and a lovely view of Satellite Channel. This is a casual golf course restaurant and a local watering hole for residents of the nearby retirement community.

Stopped here for dinner after golf and what a pleasant surprise. Had the baked oysters that were on special and took some home for my wife. Beautiful views and excellent service from the staff. Moderately priced - I wouldn't hesitate to return.
