Xaibe - Coba

My taxi driver, Jorge, suggested we have lunch at Xaibe and of course, I eagerly agreed. The menu is pretty straightforward and the service was awesome. We shared guacamole (the BEST I've had) and I had the cochinita pibil tacos, which were delicious. Our server brought over some onions and habanero sauce, which was also great tasting and fresh. It was a nice day and we sat out in front at the entrance. What a wonderful dining experience!

Drove into Coba and stopped here arbitrarily. This was the best food I had while touring the Yucatan. The service was fast and the food was very fresh. There were vegetarian options too which is greatly appreciated.

We stopped here for lunch before entering the ruins and were so pleased! We've been staying in Tulum for a week and this was by far the tastiest food we've had. Our waiter was so friendly, brought a high chair for our babe & directed fans at us to cool us down. We ordered too much, as usual, Poc Chuc, chicken fajitas, cheese empanadas, guacamole, horchata & jamaica, everything was delicious.

We didn't want to go to the other restaurants that seemed too touristic and we felt like this one could be a nice place... yes, we were right! Before ordering we asked if we could pay in Franks, because we ran out of Pesos and surprisingly they agreed. The food was fantastic, the cochinita pibil tasty and "sabrosa" and the guacamole... the best one we had during all our stay.I highly suggest it, even the people are incredibly friendly!

I was on a private bird watching tour so was in Coba very early. My guide suggested Xaibe and they happily set down some chairs and offered us breakfast. Mexican eggs were great with black beans, some veg and a fresh coconut to drink. Menu seemed reasonably priced. All served with a smile and clearly a frequent stop for locals.
