Rachetti's Cafe Pizzeria - Coal City

We ordered takeout on a Tuesday when the prices were half off. Unfortunately, our pickup time ended up being doubled, and we had to wait around 30 minutes once we arrived. They were short-staffed in the kitchen and working to catch up. The restaurant was crowded, and there was a substantial list of takeout orders. Despite the wait, I gave a full five stars for everything because the staff was incredibly friendly. They offered us drinks while we waited and were very apologetic about the delay. Sometimes, circumstances are beyond our control, and we can only do our best. The food was excellent and definitely worth the wait. I will absolutely return!

As far as flavor goes they are good. As far as service they are horrible. Our pizza only had toppings on one side the burger was still raw and the calzone was garbage and didn't include half the ingredients. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

My fiancé and I had never ordered from this restaurant before because of the many negative reviews. However, I found myself craving French onion soup, and they were my only option. I have to say, I’m baffled as to why we didn’t try this place sooner! The food arrived hot, and the French onion soup was absolutely incredible (which is surprising since I usually don’t even like it, but it really hit the spot). On a whim, I also decided to order a salad and some cinnamon rolls, and everything turned out fantastic. Considering the price for what we received, everything feels expensive these days, but you only live once. I will definitely be ordering from here again in the future! 10/10.
