Mai's Café - Cluain Meala

The food in Mai's Cafe is fantastic. They make something as simple as a panini into a work of Art, with a real salad, not just a few leaves of lettuce in the corner.

The staff are friendly. The food is excellent. The eggs Benedict is one of the best I've tasted.

The service is great, the pancakes were good at one stage but the quality is now lacking. They used to be nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with a good amount of maple syrup and berries. But now it's like eating thick bread with not alot of berries and maple syrup is hardly there. The coffee is ok, not bad but not memorable. My husband had the eggs Benedict a few times and it was good. The prices are a bit expensive for what you get.

Great food, I have eaten here many times now and recommended Mai's to family. Everyone loves the food here. Next time I'll get a picture.
