Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Cloquet

My family and I stop here often as we travel between Duluth and the Cities and only realized tonight how ridiculously overpriced this DQ is compared to all others. A $2 difference between stores for a medium blizzard is not ok. We will never be stoppinghere again and will instead give our business to other DQs along the way.

My wife and I used to frequent this place quite a bit. And of course our two kids love the ice cream. But the last time that we are in our bill went on by at least $17. I know it's partly due to inflation but the other part is is the management of the DQgetting greedy. The facilities are always nice and clean the staff is very friendly and the food is good but it's just not agood enough to justify the price. So we only go like once every 3 months now.

Every time we have visited our family in the city, our family has been well treated! will definitely stop!

We had a big group order, seven people, over $100 and they had it very fast. I wait longer on typically faster fast food places. it was a nice surprise.

I'm quite dissatisfied with the mobile ordering. Everyone loves DQ but with my limited time on lunch break, I could never go. The lines are often quite long, so the mobile ordering looked like a great solution. Gave a couple extra minutes from when the app said my order would be ready.So I arrive 5 minutes late and wait by the mobile ordering area for the staff to acknowledge me. A few people already in line so I don't sweat it when they get helped first. But the cashier does not acknowledge me after. A few minutes later, someone from the back finally acknowledged me so I say mobile order for Bruce it gets repeated by a few unseen voices behind the wall and I anticipate my food being brought up as it's now about 10 minutes after it should be ready.A dipped cone comes up, how nice I thought they didn't have to do that for me. They didn't. It was part of the order for the group I had to wait for. Cones are fast, my food will be right up I thought.Ah here comes my chicken strip basket ... wait there's no bag If you were guessing THAT chicken strip basket was for the group I waited for, you'd have guessed correctly. Finally get out of there with my food, there goes well over half my lunch break just standing watching customer after customer get food before me. Lesson learned, you're gonna stand there the whole time always, DON'T use the app.TL;DR Ordered on the app, waited in the lobby longer than ordering in person.
