Asahi Sushi - Clinton Township

Our dinner experience on Friday night was amazing. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was fresh and flavorful. We had spicy Ramen noodles and sushi, which were both cooked to perfection. The presentation of the sushi boat was impressive, and we enjoyed every bit of it. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and family and tell them to try the sushi boat, which is a unique offering of this restaurant.

Great little sushi spot! Small space but great for meeting up a few friends for lunch or dinner. Service was excellent! Prompt and attentive staff. Will revisit!

I eat here often but brought a friend in to try it for the first time. The food was good, but I did not appreciate being asked to leave. We ordered our food, ate, and were enjoying conversation. As soon as we finished eating they took our plates and immediately gave us our bill. My friend ordered another coke, we paid and continued to chat. They kept looking at us and another worker asked if we needed our bill. We informed her we already paid. We were there between an hour/hour and a half (majority of the time was waiting for our food), when one of the workers asked us to leave because of a reservation. Mind you there were multiple empty tables around us. I would have understood if they were busy but at this point, they were not. We spent good money and were wrapping up. We would have been gone in another 10 minutes or so. For my friends first experience there she was not impressed. Customer service is usually fine but this time around we were rushed and they were just plain rude. Very disappointed.

The best sushi inside Michigan and prices will reflect that. While the restaurant may be small in size it makes up for in spades with food, atmosphere and service. If you get the chance and opportunity to dine here you will be rewarded with a great meal. Thank you Asahi for never changing the quality over these years when so many have. You truly are a gift and a blessing to the community. Big Blue out. Parking: Parking lot is not large but when full the Vince and Joes fruit market may be used as an over fill lot.
