Red Robin Gourmet Burgers And Brews

The food quality at this restaurant has declined since my last visit a few years ago. The burger bun was changed and now it is soft but dry, lacking in flavor. It seems like they are trying to cut costs, but it is impacting the overall taste of the food. I don't think I will be returning anytime soon.

We always order on line and this time we decided to go in person. We were very impressed. Food always so good. Josh our server was welcoming and so cool. And so clean especially the restroom. Def come here and join their rewards. We were welcomed by the manage w Two complimentary appetizers. So good. We will be back.

This used to be my favorite restaurant because the food was delicious. However, there are too many young, inexperienced workers who make it seem unprofessional. I overheard them in the kitchen gossiping about customers who don't tip. When I asked for a refill in a to-go cup, the waiter made a comment about tips and I could hear them talking loudly about me not tipping. It made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe, as I worried they might tamper with my food over a tip. The restaurant seemed to have a lack of professionalism, probably due to hiring immature staff members with no experience. This is likely why they are always advertising for new employees.

It's been a minute since we went to a Red Robin. We used to go to the Red Robin in Paramus. But the last couple of times the food was not good. Hubby had a birthday burger, so we looked for a different location and came to Clifton. I'm glad we did. 1) Paramus was closed and 2) way better service and food in Clifton. Yay! Tara (aka T) was amazing! She was so friendly, outgoing, and helpful. Tara told us about the happy hour pricing, so we got the Mozzarella Sticks and Pickle Nickels. Hubby got the Blue Chill and Madlove burger. I got the Poppin' Purple Lemonade and the California Chicken, which Tara suggested to swap out the provolone for pepper Jack. Awesome suggestion, Tara! Blue Chill yummy and I don't drink, hehehe Poppin' Purple Lemonade beautiful color drink I love Prickly Pear! I didn't even read further, lol Mozzarella Sticks meh, the marinara is really good, though Pickle Nickels better :D Madlove delicious! California Chicken perfect with the pepper jack! After this experience, we will be going back to Red Robin again. Update 4/15/23: The Island Heat wings were so good! AJ was our server this time and he was very nice and patient while I made a custom turkey burger.

Actually I was surprised how good it was. Place was clean, server was good, tap line for the beer was clean. Burger was solid, well seasoned and constructed. Fries were maybe a bit softer than I’d like, but fine. And can’t beat a big burger and fries for 16 bucks anymore.
