El Charro Mexican Restaurant Bar And Grill Clifton Texas

I enjoy every food I have in El Charro. They have lunch specialities daily with their beef chili relleno Thursday lunch specialist the best.

We enjoyed the food while visiting old friends and new ones. Unfortunately, the waiting personnel were badly monitored. There is certainly room for a great improvement. One of the most confusing experiences we met in a restaurant was Fri 9/16; we were recommended there were no clean dishes anymore, so the staff was unable to sit or serve people at 19:45. Adult supervision is highly recommended.

Disappointed. We chose El Charro in Clifton via Don Carlos in Waco. Hubby has changed his habit. He asked the waitress about telling him she would go to the kitchen, she never came back to answer him. She sits on the table where two other waiters are all on their phones. She finally comes back to our table, asks my nabenbein for his food. She said it comes in this way, unless the customer asks for something else, if they don't say what they want them to guess what the customer wants. She's leaving, coming back to the phone. She finally comes up to ask if someone needs something, we asked her for more chips she says okay. She goes back to her phone, we never have chips! Hubby didn't get what he wanted. So we asked to go tablets we took the rest of our food home. We spent almost $100.00 on our food. It won't go back.

Eating is good. Our waitress didn't even smile or really talked to us. The little lady who brought us our food was nice and the guy who checked us was nice too. Don't come to dinner the waitress. That's why I didn't give 4 5 stars.

The food is good(other than the salsa always being watery) its the waitstaff are whats makes that place horrible. I have been to this place 5 times. It was good when it first opened something happened in 2021 that just made it go down hill fast. The waitstaff does not know the menu, they give you the wrong order and when you tell them that isn't what you order they try to upcharge you for the order. I told them there was no way I was paying the difference because they messed it up. I know things happen but this just keeps happening.
