Angelo's Pizza - Clifton

It's a decent neighborhood pizza spot, but I live in Nutley, NJ, where there are many great options. Angelo's doesn't stand out and isn't worth making a special trip for.

I can't get enough of this restaurant! The location is fantastic, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the pizza is simply delicious. I highly recommend trying the vodka margarita slice or pie—it's truly exceptional, and you'll fall in love with it. When I lived nearby, I used to order from here multiple times a week, and they never let me down. I can't wait to come back and eat here again the next time I'm in the area!

At first, the slice looks like nothing special and a bit on the thin side. But they have a distinct crunch/chew texture that I have never experienced before. The sauce was decent, too. The counter service was lacking, but I do think it's because they are dealing with high take out orders.

My clients were in the mood for Italian and picked from this restaurant. The order was called in, and I got the chicken marsala. At first they couldn't find the order but they found it and it was all good! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. The food was ready, I paid and got help to the car. When I dug in the chicken marsala, the food was delicious! It was flavored to perfection! I had it with penne pasta, and that was a great choice. I enjoyed meal and all in all, it was a good experience!

First time here. Pizza was made the way it should be. Crispy crust, sauce well seasoned and the right amount of cheese, it was like I asked for extra cheese but this is the way Angelo does it. Angelo is very personable and professional!
