Fortune Cookie - CLIFTON PARK

I'm new to the area so I decided to try out a Chinese Food Place. It would have been a 5 star Review, but I had none of the crunchies for my soup and there was not a menu attached to my order. The food was superb. The texture, quality, and taste was on point. We ordered their dumplings, I asked for a 10 count but got an 8 count. I think that was mainly due to differences in the online menu vs their actual store menu, but the quality was expected for dumplings. Not much amazing you can do there. My girlfriend and I were extremely pleased with our order. We both ordered the General Tso's Chicken, I ordered mine extra spicy as I always do. They actually made it with a bit more a kick, unlike other Chinese Food Places where they just add extra sauce. We also ordered her son the Chicken and Broccoli, which he loved. We also ordered the egg rolls and the crab rangoon. The egg rolls were some of the best I've had in a while, a trait I always use to judge a Chinese Food Place is by the quality of their egg rolls. The crab rangoon was delicious, but I felt like it was more of a cream cheese rangoon than a crab rangoon as I could not discern any flavor other than cream cheese. Overall a fantastic experience and I would most definitely order from here again! As for order time, as the chefs may be different on days/times of order, we ordered around roughly 2PM on a Thursday.

I've been a customer at Fortune Cookie in Halfmoon for nearly five years, and I believe they are the best in the area! The shrimp lo mein is exceptional, packed with a generous amount of shrimp. The jumbo shrimp, snow peas, shrimp foo young, grilled spring rolls, and dumplings are also delightful. The list goes on... but the highlight is the friendly and quick service. I absolutely love this place!

I've ordered takeout from this restaurant several times, and the food is consistently good. I've only had one mistake with my order. When I call ahead, they always tell me it will be ready in 15 minutes, and it usually is. However, last Friday I decided to order last minute and was again told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I placed my order and noticed that people who came in after me were receiving theirs. I saw that 80% of my order was sitting waiting to be picked up, while the remaining dish took another 20 minutes. So, after 40 minutes, one dish was hot and the others were cold. It was disappointing, especially since I live just three minutes away. I recommend calling ahead, but you might want to avoid ordering during dinner time on Friday nights!

I've been ordering food from Fortune Cookie for over 12 years, and I've never had a bad meal or experience. The staff is very friendly, and my food is always ready in about 15 minutes. The hot and sour soup is consistently fantastic. Please note, they do not offer delivery.
