The staff here are incredibly friendly, and they serve the best candied yams I've ever tasted—sorry, Mom!

It used to be one of the best places to eat. The food still tastes great, but the options have become quite limited.

This is a nice little restaurant, but unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. We had to signal the waitress multiple times just to get our drinks. The hospitality was lacking, which is surprising for a soul food establishment. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're okay with subpar service and a messy, disorganized environment. It also seems like they need to improve their understanding of how to operate the air conditioning.
