The Corner Alley - Cleveland

I rarely feel the need to complain about service and as someone who works in the industry I’m very understanding. We came here and were immediately sat during an Indians game which they were busy…. We received our beer in a timely manner and our server took our order. We questioned why she was using her cell phone to take the order but thought that she maybe didn’t have a pen or a tablet on her like the other servers had been using around us. Understanding that they were busy we were more than willing to wait 30 plus minutes for food. When 45 minutes went by we still had not been served an appetizer. We struggled to find our server and when we finally questioned about our food she went to check on our ticket. When she came back about 15 minutes later she had said that the kitchen had lost our ticket and that they had not even started our food. It was very apparent that she might have forgot to put our food in. So overall we were there for an hour and a half and still left hungry.

We had a server named Chewy who was incredibly attentive and catered to all of our needs. Plus, he had a fantastic personality! He truly made our experience the best it could be.

Perhaps it's not a good idea to have a TouchTunes machine if you're going to skip every song that your paying customers have selected. You do have the option to filter out songs or artists that you don't want to play, right? It felt like a waste of my money. On top of that, the food was not only unappetizing but also cold.

The food was excellent, and we dined outdoors. However, the smell of someone smoking cannabis in the vicinity was a bit off-putting, although that's beyond their control. The service left something to be desired. Our server was friendly, but after she brought our meals, we hardly saw her again until she delivered the bill. I ended up getting my own drinks from a rather irritated bartender while I noticed our waitress scrolling on her phone at the end of the bar.

Enjoyed the place. Good service closes a little early to my liking but it's all good. Should have tried bowling but had no one to bowl with.
