Otani Japanese - Cleveland

Very polite crew here. Great food. Colorful atmosphere. They offered me a free hot tea while waiting for my order in the sushi bar. Recommend Otanis Japanese restaurant!

I've taken over her Wednesday evening sushi specialties since Covid (I've got them in the restaurant before). It was always good, and almost always ready when predicted.

Early 70s to the beginning of the 1980s, occasionally in the early 1990s. I haven't been there for about 9-10 years and was disappointed at that time. But recently, good things heard about her, so I tried her. It was very good. Sashimi was excellent, the cattle grower was great and the dumplings were good. My pig-catsu duck was great. Wine selection limited, but had a great California Sauvignon Blanc that is one of my favorite wines. Overall very beautiful experience.

We are now regularly at this point and we could not be happier, we always get our place at the bar and the atmosphere is relaxed, clean and pleasant. The staff is super helpful, always smiling and the chefs know exactly what I get every time and help my husband try new things. We come to this place as often as we can enjoy it. Great for a first date, weekday, friends and just to have great food and relaxed time.

Wr went their for my brother's rehearsal dinner and our cook was great, the best one we have ever experienced. The food was delicious, really enough for 3 meals.
