Cherokee Yacht Club - Cleora

Two of the most frequent visits have been buffet only. One was Thanksgiving and the other the boat parade. We took an 8 year old picky eater with us and he had seven plates of food and dessert. He recognizes good food. They frequently have a version of caprice salad which never disappoints. The food is amazing. We enjoy Mexican night on Monday's too. Apparently there is a transition in the fall of staff. Most times the staff are well trained and efficient. The last meal it seemed everyone was a bit off. We ordered Irish Coffee as it was a cold night and it was delivered cold. It was quickly replaced and both the waiter and bartender apologized for the mistake.

We're not members but we stopped by anyway to have a few drinks on a late summer afternoon. The staff (at the outdoor bar) were very helpful and accommodating. In fact, we got a sample of a signature drink, the Tommy Gun, which I would highly recommend. I love the surroundings, Grand Lake on one side, the pool area on the other.

Classic boat show every year at Grand. First year at Cherokee. This is a great location and you can ride the shuttle over from Arrowhead. Mark your calendars for the third weekend in September.

Easter Brunch! WOW! Val, Tina, Mike and the whole crew doing a great job. This club is private.

Been there twice with friends and this place is the best on the lake. Mikey in Hookers is a little surly, but the members don't seem to mind. Best dinning room on the lake bar none. I will be joining.
