Firehouse Subs - Clemson

Firehouse is a chain, but in any case do not let that affect your opinion and decision, a hot meat and melted cheese sub!! The place is clean, and the students who are hired part-time are often a pleasure to work!!

The lady who's manager of day shift is absolutely wonderful. She is very sweet an makes a wonderful sandwich , even when swamped an she's the only person there.

The highlight of this wonderful sandwich is the fantastic combination of sauces and cheese it features. The service is quick, so you receive your food in no time. However, keep in mind that on Sunday nights, they might run out of supplies.

The sub sandwiches at this place are exactly what you'd expect from a fire department: tasty and satisfying. I ordered the beef brisket twice because it was so good. If you eat there frequently, they even have a rewards program. While it's a bit pricier than Subway, the flavors and variety of sauces available make it well worth it.

I visited the fire department store for the first time and, having worked on the subway for 11 years, I have to say this is the best sub I've ever had! The staff here is incredibly friendly. Now that I’ve moved to the area, I plan to come back regularly. You might even consider picking up a weekend job here!
