Bidrage med feedbackI am not sure where to begin with how special this restaurant is. The menu is incredible. The food is quality and the portions are incredible size. Perfect Milk shakes, the meat in the burgers was seasoned just right.... Not to mention the restaurant itself is so 1950's charm. The outdoor eating area over looks Clearlake and to sit back there at sunset on a warm evening while eating and drinking is incredible. It has a dock that you can park your boat and walk up into the back area and sit outdoors. My family owned a lake home in Highland Harbor for many years so going to The Spot became a ritual. After we would leave the restaurant we would load back up onto my fathers boat and he would drive us to the middle of the lake and blast Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings and we would swim for hours. I lost my father to cancer a few years back and we sold the lake house and reside in Santa Rosa. So we do not visit as much. But just recently I took my daughter and we had the greatest time. Thank you... The Spot for great memories and incredible food. I highly recommend this restaurant. Picture below is a picture of my father Tom Cuneo driving us to The Spot on his pontoon.
This is the spot to go to in Clearlake! The food was delicious and the hosts were great All the burgers and food on the menu look very delicious upon arrival. It was such a great time being here
The Spot is all about good food, good beer and good vibes! Their live music truly completes the festive feel, and the fun atmosphere! I looooooove, after a day on the Lake, pulling the boat up to their boat dock parking, and heading in for some burgers, fries and beer! I order their garden burger and fries, which is super yummy! Definitely try their fried pickles too!! Nom nom! Andddddd, depending on my mood, I'll have either a cocktail or an ice cold brewski! Or 2. Wait, 3! :D Enjoy their beautiful outside seating, their indoor seating or saddle up to their bar! You get lovely views of the Lake from every table. So pull up by boat, jet ski, pontoon, sailboat, kayak, bass boat, dinghy you get the picture party people! :D And have some summer funnnnn! Heart youuuu my fellow adventurers! Peace out! K thx bye! xoxo
Riding motorcycles we're always looking for places that have good parking, nice people, clean bathrooms and good food. Of course a lakeside location and the opportunity for a few rounds of corn hole are always another good thing! Very friendly staff here made sure we were happy with everything!
There 's a few things I did not appreciate about the restaurant: Dirty silverware was given new silverware ware after pointing it out) Was not greeted upon walking in. Had to seat ourselves after 10 mins of being in the restaurant was I then greeted. Only refilled my water once. The food was alright . I 'm not from this area, so some of their dishes were different. Fried mushrooms ordered it ; not a fan) [if you like mushrooms, don 't mind me]. Ordered the WINGS. Lemon pepper wings; couldn 't taste the lemon . Buffalo wings were good. Ordered the Tri Tip burger, it was really good. But just not a fan of the jalapeños that were in it. One, and when I say one I mean 1. 1 long pickle in a thick round burger. Personally I love pickles, would have enjoyed the burger more with more long pickles. Lol at least 2 long pickles in a burger that size). My husband ordered the blue cheese bacon burger. He wasn 't a fan and neither was I. The blue cheese had a very very strong after taste. I 've had blue cheese before. I haven 't had blue cheese on a burger before. It just wasn 't my cup of tea). Also his burger had regular onions. My husband would have preferred the red onions in his burger... my side salad had red onions. Overall. My husband disliked his burger. We came on a Friday night, so bingo was playing. It was loud. Couldn 't really hear my husband as we were talking. It really wasn 't a big issue but another older couple did complain about it being a little too loud. Overall experience was ok. I probably won 't come again.
