Other Place - Clear Lake

Aside from those worries, the food was decent. The pizza had a fantastic crust, was cheesy, and loaded with Canadian bacon. Unfortunately, the pineapple tasted like it came from a can, rather than being fresh as we had hoped. Overall, it's a nice pizza place.

My daughter ended up with a stomach ache after only eating half of her burger and onion rings, which left her tray soaked in grease. Additionally, some items on the menu didn't match their descriptions. We strongly recommend avoiding the Philly sandwich and the Other sub unless you prefer low-quality, rubbery roast beef that tastes like it came directly from the grocery store deli. The pizza looked decent, but I’m reluctant to spend another $100 here hoping it might be better. We won’t be coming back.

It seems the pandemic has really taken a toll on this restaurant, and I empathize with them. The staff appeared to be quite busy and overwhelmed, which contributed to the slow service. I believe this is primarily due to a lack of training. I ordered one of their Firehouse Burgers (I think that’s what it’s called), and it was good—not exceptional, but perfectly acceptable.

The service was outstanding, and the pizza was wonderful. This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I would certainly come back!

As you can see from my photos, I couldn't resist diving in before snapping a picture! Additionally, they have a lovely back patio with a different menu that leans toward healthier and fancier choices. Everything there is delicious! If you prefer, you can still order from the indoor menu. I’ll definitely be returning for more!
