Safeway - CLE ELUM

Neither employees nor customers wear masks. incredibly dangerous.

Only save in the city . overpriced, because there is only one load in the city! regale are always empty. recommend driving 25 miles to ellensburg, where there are 4 different better price food shops and well stocked.

Even if the autobahn and this location is super busy, it is so great and convenient because it is public quiet spaces outside of the safeway gas pumps and inside left of the entrance where the deli and dietucks lie. so they can use the restroom, fill their gas tank, get a snack or meal all in this one holding place. I think this safeway is extra beautiful and fabulous.

I really like this Safeway! I almost always stop here on road trips for a bathroom break and pick up a snack or kombucha. The bathrooms are the main portion of the store that I'm familiar with and they're always clean and big enough that there's no lines haha. The rest of the store (which is big and modern! is also really clean and easy to find things. Ironically, I was here late Friday night on my way to Leavenworth and it was a bit of a disaster because there was literally one cashier a huge line and naturally the register froze during my transaction and I held up the entire line! It was so uncomfortable, I felt so awkward and the cashier was super frustrated and on the verge of losing it. The NICEST lady ever ended up buying my one item (a gallon of water with cash to keep the line moving. If you ever see this, thanks again!!! Even though my last visit was rocky, I still like going here when I pass through Cle Elum and will continue to do so!

There were a lot of people not wearing masks in the store. It was quite crowded, and it wasn't the cleanest Safeway I have visited.
