The Capital Grille - Clayton

What a wonderful culinary experience! We started with appetizers, Calamari (best I ever had! and tuna tar (yum). Our waiter Jason proposed the beet salad. It was amazing. Main course was beef tenderloin and lobster tail, boiled for perfection! It was my birthday so the birthday dessert of brûlée cheesecake and espresso chocolate cake ended the evening. These additional touches were confetti on the table and a birthday card signed by the staff! We will return!

I have eaten many times in the Capital Grille in Charlotte NC. This place opened this week, but I never knew that. The ambience, service and food were perfect. Please recommend the Calamari and Cast Iron Shrimp for apps. Had 10oz Filet Oscar for Entree and was cooked for perfection and the Lobster Mac n Cheese was to die. Eat there as soon as you can! We had an amazing experience. The first time we went and would recommend every steak lover. The service was impeccable and the food was divine. They even gave us champagne and strawberries to dessert to celebrate our special occasion. They won't be disappointed.

Exceptional service and hospitality. Plus great food. The Lobster Salad is excellent. Lobster bisque with sherry poured on top oh mine. You should try. There is already a chain 56 or 57 restaurants, so there is no learning curve. They stole managers from 801 Chop amd 801 seafood among other places, so there are no inexperienced employees.

We were there for a company celebration and our waiter Garrick took great care of us. The experience was wonderful from the moment we walked in the door. Would highly recommend!!
