Moonrise Distillery - Clayton

The drinks were great and the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately, we had a few unpleasant interactions with the owner, who we later learned was responsible for these negative experiences. When we tried to give feedback, he became even more hostile. Not interested in returning.

We just went to this place for the first time today, and I am sure we will be back again. We loved it, definitely was not your typical small town distillery. Doug, the owner and proprietor, is a master distiller and knows more about bourbon than anyone I’ve ever talked to. The whole experience was informative and tasty, they brew some great Bourbons.

Visited for the first time yesterday. Good bourbon and the bonus was the ice cream. It was so good we’ll be going back for more of both. Great service!

We visited for a family birthday and it was a very relaxing Sunday afternoon. The bar room was very empty and they had soft live music. We enjoyed tasting all the spirits and playing darts! All of the spirits were delicious but my favorite was the distillers select bourbon whiskey. The bartender and servers were friendly as well.

Great bourbon! Been visiting since 2017 or 2018. Always great, they have expanded a lot. Always a good time!
