Gio's Restaurants - Clarkstown

Excellent food. Calamari one of the best we ever had. Rock shrimp delicious too. Extensive menu, something for everyone. Server was pleasant and helpful. Wine a little expensive. Definitely a New City favorite of ours now.

My husband and I absolutely love Gio 's! We are always impressed by the specials and love everything on the menu. The clam chowder and the salmon and shrimp scampi meal are my absolute favorites around. The chef/owner is the nicest man and his team works their butt of for you! We call this our place and we love it! 100% recommend!!

Out door dining close to home attracted us for a first time visit. Nearby traffic was noticeable but the breeze was great. Thai chicken salad was superbly seasoned and highly recommended. Zuppe de pesce was good too although a there was a little too much sauce and 2 mussels did not open. We'll definitely go again.

Our children took us here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was very nice. The service was outstanding. Dani is a phenomenal waitress. She was so pleasant, helpful and had just a wonderful personality. Her smile is infectious. The food was outstanding. They make everything fresh. Any dish could be a vegan or vegetarian dish or gluten free. That's not a normal thing that happens in a restaurant. Instead of getting the chicken marsala they made me mushroom marsala and it was out of this world amazing! We were all extremely happy with everything that was ordered. The drinks were incredible. The bartender was so nice and so pleasant. I met the owner, who is so nice. His recipes are outstanding! The chef, well, I was blown away and I'm usually not blown away by any restaurant. When I can get really good vegetarian food I'm very happy. Thank you very much, we will be back.

Appetizers, dessert and drinks were delicious. Dinners were very good. Nice portions. Service was fantastic. Emma was one of the most personable servers we've had in a long, long time. We left stuffed. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.
